Shipping: recommended to avoid pick-up queues and parking issues. 
Your regalia will arrive 1-3 weeks prior to your ceremony.   Cut off for delivery by courier option, please see your institute and ceremony details below.

Pick up: 17 George Street, Newmarket (by Auckland Domain)

Please leave plenty of time for pick-ups due to potential queues and wait times. See your ceremony date for specific dates and times

Returns: please return within 2 business days of your ceremony normal trading hours Monday to Friday 9.00am – 4.00pm, please see below for your specific institute times. Closed public holidays.

I missed my pick-up date, can I come another day?

If you missed your date or cannot come on your date, email us at info@graduationplace.co.nz to check if you can collect on other specified pick up days.

I placed a casual order, when will it be delivered or when can I pick it up?

If you chose courier delivery, it will be sent within a week of your specified date.
If you chose click & collect,  you are welcome to come within a week of your specified date.

We are open Monday to Friday 9am to 4pm (closed weekends & public holidays)

When do I have to return my order by?

For graduation ceremonies: Your order is due back within 2 business days of your ceremony date.

For legal admissions:

AUCKLAND – this will depend on the time of your ceremony, please check your invoice for details

OUT OF AUCKLAND – please courier it back within 2 business days of your ceremony date

When will my bond be refunded?

Bonds are usually processed within 10 working days of receiving your returned regalia.

If you have not received your bond refund within this time frame, please email your order number to info@graduationplace.co.nz and let us know.

I ordered and paid for delivery – when will I receive it?

Your order will be packed and couriered out on NZ Post courier at least one week prior to the specified ceremony date.

You will receive tracking information via text or email from NZ Post once it has been collected from our store by the courier.

It is less than one week prior to my ceremony – can I still order the courier?

Please email info@graduationplace.co.nz to ensure we have enough time to courier it to you.

When can I pick up my order?

Graduation & legal events: Collection dates and times can be found on your invoice and on our website. Please see upcoming ceremonies tab for upcoming Graduations.

Casual orders: you are welcome to collect anytime during our opening hours.  The 2 day hire period will start from the day you pick up. 

Can someone pick up my order for me?

Yes! Anyone can pick up your order for you – just make sure to give them your order number and full name.

Do I need to bring anything to collect my order?

Please have your order/invoice number ready when you come to collect your order.

Can I try on my order when I pick it up?

Yes! You are welcome to try on your regalia here and we are happy to help you with sizes and exchanges.

How do I return my order?

Please ensure that your invoice (or order number and full name) is in your bag so that we can mark your order off as returned. Your order can be returned either in person or by courier.

IN PERSON: Your order can be dropped off to our store during our opening hours.

COURIER: If you have a prepaid return shipping label, drop your box off at a NZ Post shop or book a courier collection via the NZ Post website https://www.nzpost.co.nz/tools/bookapickup/address

You may also arrange for your own courier to deliver the regalia back to us.

Can someone return my order for me?

Yes! Please make sure that your invoice (or order number and full name) is in the bag if someone is dropping off the regalia on your behalf. 

What happens if I am late returning my regalia?

As we have to prepare the regalia for the next ceremonies, if you return after the due date,  we do unfortunately have to charge a late fee.

If the regalia is still not returned within a certain time, we will have to charge you full replacement value.
